My 100th post! and nothing clever!
Okay, so I was making my bed the other day and as I was putting my pillows up and fluffing them, I was looking at them and thinking about when Tabitha had bought me the pillowcases. She got them for some birthday quiet a few years ago, before I was married . . . so at least 8 years, but probably more like 12. They're real cute, they have Ariel on one side and Flounder on the other. And then it hit me . . . I am a 30 year old who still has character pillowcases on her bed! Who does that?

Nap Time!
Anna was sitting and talking to me yesterday and when I asked her a question and she didn't answer I got up and looked at her. This is what I found! So stinkin' cute!!!
Here are a few pictures of Abby sleeping in the family bassinet. This bassinet has been in Neil's family for over 40 years and a bunch of babies have slept in it, including Neil. So of course Neil's babies have to sleep in it. I made the bumper pad for Anna and was really excited that I got to use it again.
Neil and I were in Costco yesterday getting the "musts" when we walked done the seasonal aisle and found this "want". We have a picnic table in our backyard my parents bought us for our first house. And Costco has this tiny little one to match. Of course ours has Gauge size bites out of the seats. (That dog better not chew on this one!!!!!) Anyway, this little thing is just perfect for Anna, actually it is a little big, so she can grow. And the really cool thing is that it fits into the trunk of my car, so I can take it to the park and stuff. And camping! Man I REALLY want to go camping.

Abigail Louise Moore
Abby joined our family late Monday night. We made it to the hospital at about 10:35 pm after making a VERY quick stop at Auntie Brenda's to drop off Anna (it is a good thing she was on the way to the hospital) and Abby was born at 10:44pm.
Abby weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and is 20 and a half inches long. She is only 10 minutes old in the first picture. Neil had to run down to the car after she was born, because when we got to the hospital I told him to forget it and not worry about it. That should tell you alot if I was willing to leave the camera behind!
She was born with the cutest little top of the head with dark curly hair.
Abby's 1st bath. I love that you can see her little tummy sticking up. So cute!

Anna meeting her sister for the first time. She asked to hold her several times, but of course, soon got very bored with her. It was so sweet watching Anna love on her and put her little cheek on Abby's cheek.
First family picture (minus one Anna)! :)
Well, we are now on day 5 and everyone is growing and happy. Neil has been a miracle worker! You know you love your husband . . .but then sometimes you wonder if he appreciates all you do? I can not believe all the things Neil has done for me in the past few days. He just figures out what would make something easier on me and then he does it. It's amazing! He has gotten to stay home with me since Abby came home, which I am SOOOOOOOOOOO thankful for. I am a little nervous for when he has to go back to work. Okay I am VERY nervous. But the Lord won't give me more than I can handle right? And if women couldn't handle two babies then we would only be able to have one. Right?
Neil is outside right now pouring the counter top for our outdoor kitchen. He is so excited about it. We are hoping to be able to have lots of bar-be-ques and parties in the backyard this summer! Neil has made our backyard look so good and Anna loves being able to go run around out there. And I love being able to open the door and say "out with you!" :)
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers and calling or coming over to check on us.

Straigth Jacket?
When I went in to get Anna up from her nap a few days again, this is how I found her. I still am not sure how she got her shirt to do that, and it did take a little while to get off of her. But I just thought it was so funny! She was perfectly okay about the whole thing too.
Anna has really been enjoying her books lately. I'll find her in her room in her little rocking chair just looking through one of her books. Usually with a pretty good pile next to her on the floor. She likes to sit down on her Daddy and have him "try" and read to her. She usually will bring him this book. Neil's Grandmother got Anna several books for Christmas. All of them had Anna name in the title. This one is called "Anna Banana And Me". It is about a little boy who is scared of all kinds of things until he meets a little girl, named Anna, and she shows him all sorts of fun things. I actually haven't gotten to read the whole book yet . . . Anna always wants to change the page faster than we can read.
She has been doing a really good job of feeding herself lately. I can put her in her highchair and let her go to town. Ans most of the food actually goes to her tummy. Although I think on this day, the peanut butter and jelly may have won!

36 Weeks!
Well, I am really 37 weeks, but the pictures are all from 36 weeks. My sister took my belly and I out for a photo shoot on the Diesel Horse Bridge. I never got around to taking any cute pictures of Anna while she was still on the inside. So I wanted to make sure and do it this time around. It is always so different being on this side of the camera. I am so used to being the one taking the pics. Brenda is having a really great time learning how and she is doing a really great job. She always comes up with really good posing ideas. And it is nice to get new ideas all the time. I feel like I have majorly slacked on the learning. But I still LOVE IT! I feel like that is how I remember things. . . in snap shots!
I had a doctors appointment today and she said that I am dilated to a 1. Yep! a big fat 1. But I am thinning, so that is promising. At least something is happening. She said the baby's head is down, but that she is not in the birth canal yet. So it will probably still be a while.

There is a nurse in training at the office, so they always do a lot more explaining when she is in there. I like that, because they tell you stuff that they normally wouldn't. Like I found out at this last appointment that they take the baby's heartbeat through her back. It makes sense because the baby is all balled up in the front, but I had never thought about it before. She also said that this is a pretty small baby. Let's hope that is true!!!!! Anna was only 6. 14 when she was born so I wonder if the Doc means smaller than that or what.

Stimulus Bill?
Time.com has a White House photo of the day. It is really fun to check in on. They posted this picture on Thursday. It was taken on Capitol Hill outside a meeting about the economic stimulus package. On the cart is a copy of the old and new economic stimulus package. I just thought it was a pretty interesting picture. Who has to read that thing? And even worse . . . who has to type it? I wonder what you do if you find a typo? :)

Well, hello . . . I don't really have anything grand to say, but I thought I had been write about something. I am still pregnant! Wahoo! The baby is moving like a thing possessed. It is fun to feel her so much, but a nap would be nice! I am starting to have contractions, but they are very sporatic and short. So they are not doing much except making me uncomfortable. I have been trying to remember how it was with Anna, but I can't remember all the little details.
Neil has been home with us the past two days! I love it when he gets to stay with us. He is just so fun. He actually spent 4 hours on Tuesday cleaning out our bedroom and organizing everything. It looks so good in there. And yesterday we spent all morning getting ride of stuff we had laying all around the house. It is so nice! I feel sooooo junked up with stuff right now trying to make room for baby. So it was wonderful for me that Neil could get ride of so much stuff for me. So the bassinett is all set up and ready for a tiny little person! I even have my bags all ready (minus the daily stuff) and waiting by the door for me. Does that mean she will never come? I wasn't ready AT ALL for Anna to come and she was 3 weeks early.
Anyway . . . Here is a cute pic of Anna playing with one of her Christmas presents. She is getting so big and so animated. She just talks and talks. It is so fun. And she is really loving her Daddy now. He puts her to bed at night, and it is just the cutest thing, because she will give him a little giggle when he lays her down. So sweet.
Hope you have a great Valentine's Day tomorrow.

Help?
Okay . . . so you know when you are driving down the road and there are those annoying bumps in the road? Well, I'm looking for them! Actually what I am really looking for is the word "BUMP" painted on the ground. I don't need the yellow signs on the side of the road, I need the word actually on the ground. So in your travels around Redding, if you come across any, please let me know. That would be great!!

Pillow Stuffing Stage
Okay, so just because you are craving 16 lbs of chocolate, does not mean you should eat it. But if you do, you should defenatley NOT eat a piece of greasy pizza and a coke. It WILL NOT end well for you. Just a little advice.
Well, it is just about impossible for me to sleep now unless I have like 3 pillows stuffed around my body. My belly is starting to get big enough that it can't hold itself up anymore! :( I am about 32 weeks and so far I have gained about 25 lbs. The doc says I should gain about 8 more. I think that is hopeful thinking. I have a feeling it will be more than that! The baby is moving around like a crazy thing. I wonder if that is a reflection on how she will be when she gets out. Maybe that is what she is trying to do now.
Here is a funny dialog:
I was reading in bed the other night and Neil says,
"What are you reading? Anne of Green Gables?"
"Nope! Anne of Ingleside."
"What's the difference?"
"She moved!"

Cousins are Great!
I just adore that Anna has so many cousins near her in age. It just seems to make the holidays even better watching them all together.
Neil, Anna and I spent Christmas Day at James and Dixie's.
Dixie has a hearth in her living room that somewhere along the way in life Tessa figured makes a great stage. She and Bella are often up there waving around wands and singing. It is quiet entertaining. Well, this Christmas it was great because all four of the kiddies thought it was fun to play along. So here is a little video from Christmas night. Apparently I need to brush up on my music skills, because I did not sing this one right. I think I confused Tessa more than helped her. You can also her Neil's Granny in the background. This little video is definately a keeper though.
We are doing the Christmas thing at my family's tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it. Mostly because of all the food that is going to be there! I love this holiday. I think New Years Day is my most favorite holiday of them all. My family really goes all out!! YUMMMMM!

Happy Halloween!
Okay . . . Okay . . . I know these are a little late, but we finally got to get all the girls together for a picture this week. These are the costums that I made for the Hope, Emily and Anna for Halloween. I was so excited to get to see them in there costums. Since Anna was sick and all I didn't even get to see the other girls in their costums. So finally on Thanksgiving we did! Yeah. They were so cute!

I Love Christmas!
I adore the Christmas season! I am trying to plan out as much as possible now, so that I don't get crazy overwhelmed in the next 36 days! Yeah, I know . . . Good Luck with that.
Anyway, Brenda likes to do gingerbread houses every year and this year we were talking about using gram crackers instead. While I was surfing around tonight I came across these pictures and thought they are SOOOOO cute. And they are tiny! Isn't it funny how things are cuter when they are smaller!? So I thought I would share and hopefully it will inspire you.
I thought the trees were a real good idea in this one and you could use green frosting to go around it and make it look like garland.

Here is a picture of the house I made last year. Neil and I were living in the Travel Trailer at the time, so I thought it would be appropriate to make a gingerbread house look like a trailer. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.
So I hope this puts you in a holiday mood!

Baby #2
Neil, Anna and I went to MD Imaging yesterday and got to see the baby for the first time. It is the only sonogram that we have planned so we were really looking forward to it. The lady doing the ultrasound was very nice and sent quite a bit of time with us. Anna was mostly just interested with the phone on the wall that had the blinking red lights! The lady did guess what the sex is, but she didn't sound to sure. So Neil and I are a little nervous to believe her. She also gave us a video of the sonogram. So we have watched that a couple of times to see if we can be more sure!
This is the little baby foot! There is a really fun part in the video were the baby kicks it's foot really hard and then stretches out it's little leg. I was really surprised how long that leg looked. Actually the baby looked really big to me. I was expecting it to look so big already.
This picture is the baby's profile. We got a pretty good picture of the spine too. I think it is so neat to be able to see of the insides of the baby. We also got to see the heart beating and saw all fours chambers of the heart going. That was really cool!
Oh and in case you are curious the lady guessed it is a girl!
