Talk to me!

Anna is always wanting to play with my cellphone (like every little kid and big kid wants!) But I'm not really cool with the random long distance call thing . . . so I dug out my old cell phone a few weeks ago and gave it to Anna. She calls it her "hello" or her "comb".
My dad took her for a walk and I gave him a whole bag of goodies for Anna, which he gave to her when they started the walk. He said that one by one everything was handed back to him, blankie, snack, drink cup, puppy (which is really a lamb), and second blankie. When all she had left was the phone, she opened it up and said, "hello daddy!" She loves to call her daddy. That is almost the only person she wants to talk to. When they got back my dad said I was in trouble, because she talked on it almost the whole hour.
Here are a few pics of Anna and Abby enjoying the "hello".
Anna talking . . .
Abby has something to say! . . .

Okay Abby your turn . . .

Now back to my conversation!
Which by the looks of things it was pretty important!

My Girls.

Abby is getting so big. She weighs 13 1/2 lbs and is 24 inches long! She LOVES to watch Anna run around. When Abby is in her swing Anna will come over and talk to her and try and put her pacifier in her mouth. Abby just thinks it is the funniest thing. She gives Anna the biggest smiles.
Abby is talking and cooing all the time. I guess she already has some very important things to say! And I just love to listen to her.

A day at the Park

The girls and I got to go watch Tessa play her last soccer game of the season on Saturday at the Soccer Park at Big League Dreams. It is real cute watching all the little tikes run around. It was way HOT! And you know how when it's hot outside and you take your shoes and socks off and walk around in the cool grass . . . ? Yeah you can't do that there, because fake grass is HOT too! I bet it is nice to not have to mow it, but it does not feel good on the toes.

Easter 2009

We had a lot of fun Easter weekend. Neil's sister's church started this fun thing last year where they drop a bunch of eggs from a helicopter. So we went to that with about 3,000 other people. Anna loved watching the helicopter. She loves to spot stuff up in the sky. She was pretty cute too when her daddy helped her with her egg. Anna wore the cutest little sailor outfit that Dixie had got for her the day before. It was SOOOOO cute. We had a lot of people stop and tell us how adorable she looked! Abby slept through the whole thing. Which actually made it pretty nice. And she is such a cute sleeper. Okay. She's cute at everything.

We spent Easter morning at my parents house. We took all the great grandbabies over to my grandparents house so they could see how cute they were in their Easter outfits. I got a few real good pictures of Anna in my Grandma's beautiful living room. And I love the picture of Noah with Abby. Anyway, I know I am little behind posting these, but they were so cute I wanted to share them anyway.

My 100th post! and nothing clever!

Okay, so I was making my bed the other day and as I was putting my pillows up and fluffing them, I was looking at them and thinking about when Tabitha had bought me the pillowcases. She got them for some birthday quiet a few years ago, before I was married . . . so at least 8 years, but probably more like 12. They're real cute, they have Ariel on one side and Flounder on the other. And then it hit me . . . I am a 30 year old who still has character pillowcases on her bed! Who does that?

Lunch with the cousins

Neil's cousin Jeff was home for a visit last weekend. So we piled all the cousins we could get into our living room for lunch and just hanging out. It was fun to get to chat for a while. Most everyone has kiddos now, so we piled them on the couch and took some pictures. It was real close to nap time and didn't go over that well. But I do think we got some keepers. I just love this picture! What are they telling each other. It is definately not good news!

And Kara, well she is not taking Jack's advice. Good for you Kara! Bella looks like she has heard all this before! :)

Nap Time!

Here is a great classic picture of a kid falling asleep on her lunch!
Anna was sitting and talking to me yesterday and when I asked her a question and she didn't answer I got up and looked at her. This is what I found! So stinkin' cute!!!

Here are a few pictures of Abby sleeping in the family bassinet. This bassinet has been in Neil's family for over 40 years and a bunch of babies have slept in it, including Neil. So of course Neil's babies have to sleep in it. I made the bumper pad for Anna and was really excited that I got to use it again.

Neil and I were in Costco yesterday getting the "musts" when we walked done the seasonal aisle and found this "want". We have a picnic table in our backyard my parents bought us for our first house. And Costco has this tiny little one to match. Of course ours has Gauge size bites out of the seats. (That dog better not chew on this one!!!!!) Anyway, this little thing is just perfect for Anna, actually it is a little big, so she can grow. And the really cool thing is that it fits into the trunk of my car, so I can take it to the park and stuff. And camping! Man I REALLY want to go camping.

And to finish it off, a really cute picture of Anna playing in the backyard!

Abigail Louise Moore

Abby joined our family late Monday night. We made it to the hospital at about 10:35 pm after making a VERY quick stop at Auntie Brenda's to drop off Anna (it is a good thing she was on the way to the hospital) and Abby was born at 10:44pm.Abby weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and is 20 and a half inches long. She is only 10 minutes old in the first picture. Neil had to run down to the car after she was born, because when we got to the hospital I told him to forget it and not worry about it. That should tell you alot if I was willing to leave the camera behind!
She was born with the cutest little top of the head with dark curly hair.Abby's 1st bath. I love that you can see her little tummy sticking up. So cute!
Anna meeting her sister for the first time. She asked to hold her several times, but of course, soon got very bored with her. It was so sweet watching Anna love on her and put her little cheek on Abby's cheek. First family picture (minus one Anna)! :)
Well, we are now on day 5 and everyone is growing and happy. Neil has been a miracle worker! You know you love your husband . . .but then sometimes you wonder if he appreciates all you do? I can not believe all the things Neil has done for me in the past few days. He just figures out what would make something easier on me and then he does it. It's amazing! He has gotten to stay home with me since Abby came home, which I am SOOOOOOOOOOO thankful for. I am a little nervous for when he has to go back to work. Okay I am VERY nervous. But the Lord won't give me more than I can handle right? And if women couldn't handle two babies then we would only be able to have one. Right?
Neil is outside right now pouring the counter top for our outdoor kitchen. He is so excited about it. We are hoping to be able to have lots of bar-be-ques and parties in the backyard this summer! Neil has made our backyard look so good and Anna loves being able to go run around out there. And I love being able to open the door and say "out with you!" :)
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers and calling or coming over to check on us.

Straigth Jacket?

When I went in to get Anna up from her nap a few days again, this is how I found her. I still am not sure how she got her shirt to do that, and it did take a little while to get off of her. But I just thought it was so funny! She was perfectly okay about the whole thing too.

Anna has really been enjoying her books lately. I'll find her in her room in her little rocking chair just looking through one of her books. Usually with a pretty good pile next to her on the floor. She likes to sit down on her Daddy and have him "try" and read to her. She usually will bring him this book. Neil's Grandmother got Anna several books for Christmas. All of them had Anna name in the title. This one is called "Anna Banana And Me". It is about a little boy who is scared of all kinds of things until he meets a little girl, named Anna, and she shows him all sorts of fun things. I actually haven't gotten to read the whole book yet . . . Anna always wants to change the page faster than we can read. She has been doing a really good job of feeding herself lately. I can put her in her highchair and let her go to town. Ans most of the food actually goes to her tummy. Although I think on this day, the peanut butter and jelly may have won!

36 Weeks!

Well, I am really 37 weeks, but the pictures are all from 36 weeks. My sister took my belly and I out for a photo shoot on the Diesel Horse Bridge. I never got around to taking any cute pictures of Anna while she was still on the inside. So I wanted to make sure and do it this time around. It is always so different being on this side of the camera. I am so used to being the one taking the pics. Brenda is having a really great time learning how and she is doing a really great job. She always comes up with really good posing ideas. And it is nice to get new ideas all the time. I feel like I have majorly slacked on the learning. But I still LOVE IT! I feel like that is how I remember things. . . in snap shots!

I had a doctors appointment today and she said that I am dilated to a 1. Yep! a big fat 1. But I am thinning, so that is promising. At least something is happening. She said the baby's head is down, but that she is not in the birth canal yet. So it will probably still be a while.
There is a nurse in training at the office, so they always do a lot more explaining when she is in there. I like that, because they tell you stuff that they normally wouldn't. Like I found out at this last appointment that they take the baby's heartbeat through her back. It makes sense because the baby is all balled up in the front, but I had never thought about it before. She also said that this is a pretty small baby. Let's hope that is true!!!!! Anna was only 6. 14 when she was born so I wonder if the Doc means smaller than that or what.

Finally . . .a Snow Day!

Well as you know Redding's winter has been slooooow in coming, but it seems like we are finally getting some rain. Which means someone else is getting snow. Yeah! James and Erica invitied us to go out with them this last Sunday, so we loaded up in Neil's Yoda and drove up. It was a tight squeeze. Mostly because I am getting so big, but we fit. Once this babe is on the outside we won't be able to fit into the truck at all, so it was really fun taking it this weekend. I really do enjoy taking that truck out and playing in it. We used to go camping in it when it was just the two of us. Of course it did ruin my favorite camp chair when it leaked gear oil all over our camping stuff, but oh well! I think it is really neat now that Neil camo painted the whole thing.Notice how Anna can't even get her arms down to her sides.
She had a few layers on!
You can see Neil's truck in the background.

I love this picture! You can't see him, but James is holding Landon.
It just cracks me up because it makes me think of what James and Neil must have been like as kids.
James and Landon

And we're done! :)
